Terms & Conditions – Alma Africa
Welcome to Alma Africa. By booking a safari with us or using our website www.almaafrica.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking.
1. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit at the time of reservation.
Full payment is required before the start of the safari.
Prices may vary depending on availability, season, and currency exchange rates.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
If a booking is cancelled, the following charges will apply:
No show: 100%
1–7 days before travel: 75%
Above 14 days before travel: 25%
Please note: Specific hotel, airline, or third-party cancellation policies may also apply.
3. Liability
Alma Africa’s liability to passengers during transfers, excursions, and safaris is governed by the laws of Tanzania. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
While every effort is made to ensure safety, Alma Africa is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal property.
Clients are strongly advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance.
4. Subcontracting
Alma Africa reserves the right to subcontract part or all of any safari. In such cases, these Terms & Conditions remain fully applicable.
5. Travel Documents & Insurance
Clients are responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas, and vaccination certificates (where required).
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost or damaged property.
6. Responsibilities
Alma Africa will make every reasonable effort to ensure your safari experience runs smoothly.
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations resulting from weather, government regulations, strikes, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Clients remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout their journey.
7. Health & Safety
Certain tours may involve physical activity; clients must ensure they are medically fit to participate.
Alma Africa reserves the right to refuse participation if a client’s health condition poses a risk to themselves or others.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to adjust itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will always strive to provide alternatives of equal value and quality.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
